We will be arriving for setup on Friday, November 19th at 4:00 PM. Many hands make light work, so we encourage as many of our members as possible to turn out lend their assistance in getting our layout up and running. The layout will be set up in the lodge room for this show. November 20th, the layout will be open to the general public from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. There is no admission charge for this event.
Following the show, a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner will be held in the dining room for members of Group 160, Sunset Lodge and invited guests.

Admission for the event is $5.00 per person and you are requested to bring your own food. The LA Live Steamers will be operating their layout, so you can ride on their layout. In addition to the operating model steam trains, there will be a host of other model railroad activities and fellowship.

An episode of Huell Howser’s “California Gold,” featuring the historic Perris Depot Museum and Railroad, will be shown on April 28. Check local listings for time and channel. Canyon Lake resident Paul Price, an exhibit contributor at the museum, was on hand when the episode was filmed on January 31.
The Great Train Expo is a series of model railroad shows that feature a number of layouts, as well as dealers and other exhibitors. The Anaheim show will be held on January 3rd and 4th at the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W. Katella Ave. Admission is $7.00 for adults with children under 12 years of age admitted for free. The public show will be on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Group 160 members are reminded that setup for the show will commence on Friday, January 2nd at noon. If you are planning on attending the show, please contact Arnold to let him know so that he can plan accordingly.
